I got my control arm that was loose and clunking around all dangerous-like back under... control.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

One of the nuts was, no joke, finger tight on the bolt that hold the arm to the frame. I literally could’ve had my wheel fall off.

We even must’ve got the CORRECTLY PLACED shims darn close to falling into factory alignment specs because it doesn’t drive all wonky. I’m still gonna check it on an alignment machine at work though.

I feel like I’ve accomplished something today.

Oh, and for those of you who don’t remember/didn’t see what happened:

Glad you got it taken care of before the upper arm lost control.

You may have gotten the alignment pretty close; when I did upper balljoints on my p71 I eyeballed it then took it to a shop, one side was within factory spec and the other was just about what I wanted it set to.

All we did was mimick the shims the drivers side had, so it shouldn’t be entirely too far off.

Good work. That could have gotten ugly.
